The Outflows page tracks all capital leaving your fund: fees owed to the manager, redemptions owed to investors, and operational costs. Everything stays here until it is settled.

The Outflows page: the Add Distribution, Add Liability and Download Table buttons, the fund contract liquidity with a Top Up button, and the pending liabilities (fees, the Fume fee and a redemption), each with Settle On-chain and Mark as Paid

1. Fees

This section shows the fees owed to the fund manager after each NAV calculation:

  • Management Fees: Recurring fees based on the fund's total value.
  • Performance Fees: Fees based on each share class's returns above its high-water mark, booked when the class crystallizes.
  • Entry and Exit Fees: Fees charged when investors subscribe (set per subscription) or redeem (set per class).

Each fee entry shows the associated performance details, so you can see exactly how the fee was calculated.

2. Redemptions

When an investor's redemption is processed at a NAV calculation, the amount owed to them appears here as a pending liability. The entry includes the redemption amount and the number of units redeemed.

3. Costs

This section tracks operational costs and other liabilities:

  • Fume Fees: The protocol fee, booked automatically on subscriptions and redemptions.
  • Manual Liabilities: Custom liabilities with a name, recipient and amount (for example, legal fees, audit costs, or consulting charges), added with Add Liability. Any expense you want to settle from the fund can be added here.
  • Distributions: Capital paid out to holders outside of the normal redemption process, added with Add Distribution. You enter an amount per share class, and it is split among the holders of each class by the value of their units, as one liability per holder. When units sit in an allowlisted DeFi venue such as a liquidity pool, you can pay that venue's part to the owners behind it instead of the venue's own address.

4. History

All settled liabilities appear in the history section with their settlement timestamp. You can sort by date to quickly find past transactions.
